Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced venue? Trippas White Group is looking for a Theatre Bars Supervisor to help run bar operations at one of the world's most iconic performing arts venues - the Sydney Opera House. You’ll lead a large team through pre-show, interval, matinee, and post-show service, delivering fast, friendly service to thousands of theatregoers across our bars.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Bar Management team in day-to-day operations, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently throughout every show period.
• Lead and deploy a large team on the floor, managing queues and delivering a consistently high standard of guest experience.
• Monitor stock, ordering, and wastage to keep operations running smoothly.
• Train, coach, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, float management, and reconciliation.
• Champion compliance with RSA requirements, NSW liquor licensing regulations, and TWG and Sydney Opera House policies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across all bar areas.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with Bar Management, Front of House, and other departments.
• Act as a role model for the team, upholding TWG and Sydney Opera House values.
• Support the onboarding and induction of new team members.
• Make confident, sound decisions under pressure, recognising when to escalate issues.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience supervising or leading a bar or hospitality team, ideally in a high-volume theatre, events, or hospitality environment.
• Current RSA certification and sound knowledge of NSW liquor licensing requirements.
• A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments.
• A genuine passion for guest experience and team development.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and show-based rosters.
