Kitchen Hands | NSW Police Academy

Seeking reliable and hardworking kitchen hands to join our team. This role offers multiple shift opportunities, Monday to Friday and on weekends.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Wash dishes and utensils, and clean kitchen equipment
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
  • Receive, check, and store deliveries
  • Complete basic food-safety documentation in line with the company food safety program
  • Remove rubbish and keep work areas tidy
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation
  • Support the kitchen team as needed during service
  • Be available for shifts across the week, including nights and weekends
  • Bring previous experience (preferred), or learn on the job with training provided

 

Requirements

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, supportive environment
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Work independently and contribute as part of a team
  • Be flexible to work rotating shifts, including occasional weekends
  • Hold a current driver licence (preferred but not essential)
