About the Role

The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for supporting the daily food service operations within a school canteen and/or boarding environment. The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, food preparation support, maintaining cleanliness standards, and contributing to a safe and positive dining experience for students, staff, and visitors.

 

This role requires a team-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, food safety compliance, and a strong customer service focus.

We are currently seeking a Casual Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at Canberra Grammar School.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

• Current WWVP (Working with Vulnerable People) Card – mandatory

   

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Basic Food Handling qualifications

   

• At least one year of coffee-making experience

   

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with flexibility for additional hours

   

• Experience working under pressure in a similar position

   

• Demonstrated ability to work independently

   

• Excellent personal grooming, presentation, and a confident, pleasant manner

   

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
